Top Down Raglan Cardigan - in Miniature

Using Susan B, Anderson's Kindred Knits, learn to knit your first top-down raglan sweater by knitting the Basic Baby Cardigan.  This pint-sized project will teach you all the necessary skills to knit an adult-sized cardigan.

The class runs for 5 Monday evenings...

April 8, 15, 22 and May 6 & 13 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm
(no class on April 29)

Cost is $65.00 for all 5 classes and includes the book.  
6 students maximum.

Skills required prior to class:
Knit, purl, rib and experience with knitting small circumference (with either double point needles, or magic loop)

Skills learned in class:  Top-down raglan sweater construction including paired increases and decreases, buttonholes and picking up stitches for edging.

Materials Required: 
1 - 100-150 grams of a plump DK or light worsted weight yarn.
     (yardage is determined by the size of the sweater you intend to knit)
1 - US size 7, 24" circular needle
1 - US size 7 set of double point needles or a 40" circular needle for magic loop
- Stitch markers
- Locking stitch markers
- Waste yarn

- Scissors
- Tapestry needle.

Please have yarn wound into a ball, if needed, prior to class start time. 
Materials purchased at Lost Art for the class will receive a 10% discount.
