Beginning Knitting
Are you ready to learn to knit?
In our beginning knitting class, you will learn to cast on, knit, purl and bind off. You will talk about different yarns and their weights and fibers, gauge, patterns and how to understand it all.
Using a Worsted Weight yarn, you will make the bias knit dishcloth. This pattern has been around a long time and is a tried and true favorite. And, just in time for Christmas, they make great gifts!
The class runs for 3 Mondays...
November 27, December 4 and 11th from 2:00 - 4:00 pm
Cost is $30.00 for all 3 classes. 5 students maximum.
Please bring the following to class:
1 - skein Worsted Weight 100% Cotton Yarn.
1 - US size 7 needle
Scissors
Tapestry needle
Come on in the shop before the first class date and we can get you set up with the supplies if needed. Materials purchased at Lost Art for the class will receive a 10% discount.
